Microsoft is releasing the August 2024 update for computers still running Windows 10 22H2, 21H2, 1809, 1607, and 1507.

Windows 10 21H1, May 2021 Update: Uninstall and rollback to 20H2 or 2004

The August 2024 Patch Tuesday Update is now rolling out as Build 19044.4780 and 19045.4780 (KB5041580) for Windows 10 22H2 and 21H2 and includes various fixes and improvements.

According to the official notes for August 13, 2024, the monthly security update, while there are no new features or significant changes, the company does fix issues with Wi-Fi Protected Access 3 (WPA3), ILT and Local Users and Groups, TCP, Windows Backup, and DHCP Option 235.

Additionally, similar to the August 2024 Update for Windows 11, this update fixes printing issues and updates the Windows Kernel Vulnerable Driver Blocklist file to include a list of drivers vulnerable to BYOVD attacks.
