Windows 11: Use the PC Health Check app to determine hardware compatibility (official)

Microsoft has started rolling out update KB5005463 for devices running Windows 10 21H1 and older versions up to and including version 2004. The update is designed to download and install the PC Health Check app to help users determine if Windows 11 is running on their computers.

According to the official notes, the app provides the necessary information to confirm whether the computer meets the minimum system requirements of Windows 11. In addition, it includes features for backing up files to OneDrive, controlling the startup program, checking for updates, viewing battery capacity, storage capacity, and more.

The update is currently being rolled out through Windows Update to devices enrolled in the Release Preview Channel of the Windows Insider program. It is also available through the Windows Update for Business channel as an automatic update. Additionally, you can even download the KB5005463 update manually through the Microsoft Update Catalog.
