Install Windows 10 directly from your hard drive or SSD and without USB or DVD 2020 Guide
Windows 10 is almost ready, we already have pricing and SKU information, and today we get a first look at the design of the Windows 10 retail box. Although the majority of users will download the operating system, some other users will purchase Windows 10 from their favorite retail store, and the box seems to look very minimalistic.
As you can see from the screenshots, the Windows 10 Home edition will have a light blue accent color, while Windows 10 Pro will have a purple accent color. Both boxes will feature a white background with a floating, centered image of the Windows 10 desktop with the new Start menu and the Windows 10 hero image.
The release of Windows 10 is currently scheduled for July 29. In the first year, the operating system will be offered as a free upgrade to Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows 8.1 Update.
