Windows 10: How to Reinstall USB to SSD or HDD in 2024 (Ultimate Guide)

Microsoft is finally releasing Windows 10 build 10041 in the Slow ring of updates to Windows Insiders. In addition, the company is releasing three new updates that technically bring build 10041 up to the same stable code that is being rolled out in the Slow ring, so if you're in the Fast ring, you don't need to change Windows Update settings.

The three new updates include KB3050279, which fixes the issue when sharing a desktop in a meeting with Lync. KB3050284 fixes the issue that can cause transparent Start menu and Task View, transparencies when snapping or dragging windows, and can cause desktop thumbnails to appear as black squares. Additionally, this update fixes an issue that causes severe graphical artifacts on the screen when Magnifier is launched in docked or lens mode, and includes a reliability improvement to resolve a common system crash. Finally, KB3046049 fixes some security issues.
