Windows 11: Enable old context menu (right-click style of Windows 10)
In Windows 8.1, an earlier version of the operating system, right-clicking on the taskbar displays the traditional-sized context menu, but it's too small to tap with your fingers. In Windows 10 Technical Preview Build 9888, and with the introduction of a new modern context menu, Microsoft is making the menu larger when you try to open the menu using touch.
If this sounds familiar, well… it should, because in Windows 7, Microsoft introduced the same adaptive context menu, but it was limited to the jump list menus. Now Windows 10 extends the functionality to the desktop.
Although the change is not significant, it is another implementation that makes Windows 10 more user-friendly for both touch and non-touch device users.
