The so-called Windows 10 "Threshold 2" update will officially be known as the "Windows 10 Fall Update" and is expected to be released sometime in November. According to a new report from Thurrott.com, sources familiar with the project have revealed that Microsoft will release the next major update for Windows 10 in November as expected.
In addition, the software giant will provide the “Fall Update” as a cumulative update and not as a new build, as insiders received during the development process.
According to the same report, Microsoft has already decided and is officially calling the next major update "Windows 10 Fall Update". Of course, this is just the name of the update; the operating system will continue to be called simply "Windows 10".
