Xbox One update: Windows 10 user interface and Cortana
When Microsoft opened the Windows 10 preview program for Xbox One on September 11 last year, only a handful of optional invitations were sent to members who had already been fully participating in the program for some time.
Now the company is ready to expand, and this weekend "even more people will get preview access to the new Xbox One experience." In addition, the software maker is announcing that it is releasing a new update to the Xbox Beta app on Windows 10 and announcing that Cortana will be available for Xbox next year.
How do you get in line for an invite? If you've already signed up for the Xbox One Preview Program, you're on the waitlist. If the company selects you, you'll soon have an invite waiting for you on your Xbox One. Getting invited to join this program is optional because the build for the console is still in its early stages and some things aren't working yet.
