Xbox app on Windows 10 update, November 2015
Microsoft has promised to bring Windows 10 to every device, including PC, tablet, phone, and Xbox. While the operating system is now available for PC and tablets, the software giant just announced at Gamescom that it will release the Windows 10 version of the operating system for Xbox One in November 2015.
In June, the company first showed off the new Xbox One user interface, which includes a brand new, redesigned dashboard and Cortana integration, and of course, is all built on the core Windows 10 operating system. Today, Microsoft is announcing that the update for the console will arrive sometime in November and will include new changes designed to make the experience faster and more comprehensive.
The new dashboard for Xbox One moves away from the tile design and instead uses the look and feel of Windows 10, which looks very similar to the Xbox app for Windows 10. Below you can check out the new Xbox One experience that Microsoft showed off in June.
