Windows 10 Build 10074: Start menu blur, Settings app and new features
An internal-use-only preview of Windows 10 was accidentally released to a select number of users through the Windows Insider program, revealing a new design for the Start menu.
The leaked build was 18947 from the Canary branch and Microsoft has deployed it to all devices running the 32-bit version of Windows 10 enrolled in the Release Preview, Slow, and Fast rings.
Although the company quickly halted deployment, numerous testers (via @NTAuthority) received the update, which included an early version of the new Start menu that's set to appear in future versions of Windows 10. And perhaps the most noticeable change is that the menu no longer ships with Live Tiles.
