Windows 10 Build 14942: Hands-on experience with Start menu, Settings, Registry and more

If you navigate to the Personalization page in the Settings app, you'll find a new Wallpaper option that lets you manage your desktop backgrounds.

Under Color, you'll find three new options, including "Automatically pick a color from my background," "Show color in taskbar and Start menu," and "Make Start menu transparent." These new settings offer more flexibility when it comes to personalizing Windows 10, as users can now customize how color schemes are applied. Additionally, Windows 10 appears to have the ability to change the window border color for those who don't like the gray color currently set as the default.

Perhaps one of the most important new options is the ability for users to disable Start menu transparency, which is enabled by default.
