Windows 10 Build 16251: Hands-on experience with Phone-PC shortcut, Cortana, Skip Ahead and more
Windows 10 Mobile Build 14356 for phones is being made available to Insiders via the Fast Ring. While Microsoft planned to release previews of Windows 10 Mobile alongside the PC version, the company missed the deadline for phones by releasing Build 14352 for PC, but today Microsoft is catching up and making Build 14356 available for mobile.
While the new test version of the mobile operating system doesn't include any significant new features, it does continue to improve Cortana so that users can finally receive phone notifications on their PC.
Notifications include SMS text messages or social media messages, as well as missed call notifications from Windows 10 Mobile or Android phones.
