Windows 10 users will no longer be able to use Google for searches with Cortana or any web browser other than Microsoft Edge. Microsoft announced the new changes as part of a new attempt to provide an "integrated search experience."
In a new article on the official Windows blog, the company explained that the purpose of Cortana in Windows 10 is to get to know you and help you with personalized assistance.
Cortana Logics is based on the Bing search engine and in order for the company to offer a “consistent personal search experience”, this integration must not be interrupted.
