How to disable reserved storage in Windows 10 [Tutorial]
Starting with Windows 10, version 1903, May 2019 Update, Microsoft is introducing Reserved Storage, a new feature that reserves a portion of your device's available storage to reduce problems when upgrading to a new version or installing updates due to lack of storage space.
Reserved storage is part of the Storage Sense feature and reserves at least 7 GB of space for updates, temporary files, system cache, and apps. When a new update is available, Windows 10 automatically deletes the files located in reserved storage to make room for the update to be installed successfully.
If the storage space is insufficient, Storage Sense will clean up other system files to make room. If the available storage space is still insufficient, you are advised to free up space manually or connect another external storage such as a USB flash drive that the system can use as temporary storage.
