Microsoft releases the second update for the Windows 10 Technical Preview, this time Build 9879. However, unlike the previous version, Build 9860, 9879 is released in the “Fast” ring of the Windows Insider program.

Reinstallation process of Windows 10 Technical Preview (Build 9926)
This means if you want to test this less stable build of Windows 10, you'll need to go to PC Settings, Update and Recovery, Build Preview, and switch from Slow to Fast in the dropdown menu option. (And you'll need to be signed in with your Windows Insider program account to get the new parts.) Once you've switched to Fast, just click Check Now to install the new build.
This is a full preview version. It will install as an in-place upgrade and you will go through the out-of-the-box experience again.
