Windows 10 21H1, May 2021 Update: Upgrade from 20H2 or 2004 with Windows Update
As part of the "C" release plan, Microsoft is providing update KB5006738 for Windows 10 21H1, 20H2, and 2004. The update is available in preview as an optional installation via Windows Update and is a non-security update with several fixes and improvements.
Windows 10 update KB5006738 bumps the version number to build 19043.1320 for 21H2 and, according to the official notes, fixes the lock screen issue that caused a blank screen to appear. It fixes an issue that prevents Kana input mode from inserting a question mark using the keyboard shortcut and subtitles for certain media apps.
Additionally, the October 2021 Update fixes issues with VPN connections, BitLocker recovery, memory leaks with Code Integrity, and fixes an issue that might prevent the successful installation of printers using the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP).
