Windows 11: Upgrade from Windows 10 via Windows Update (official)
As part of the “C” release plan, Microsoft is releasing update KB5007253 for Windows 10 21H2, 21H1, 20H2, and version 2004. The latest patch is available as a preview and optional installation via Windows Update and includes many non-security fixes and improvements.
Windows 10 update KB5007253 increases the version number to build 9041.1387 (2004), 19042.1387 (20H2), 19043.1387 (21H1) and 19044.1387 (21H2) and according to the official notes, fixes the Settings page crashing issue, font uninstallation issue, Start menu not displaying apps properly, Excel exporting to PDF issue, Internet Explorer issues and more.
Additionally, this update also resolves a current issue that might prevent a Microsoft Installer (.msi) from repairing or updating apps, which may cause apps to stop working.
