Windows 10 November Update: Hands-on demo with new features and changes (version 1511)
Microsoft has a pretty busy day, which keeps tech writers busy too. On November 18, the company will release a new cumulative update for “Windows 10 Version 1511” for PCs along with Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586.
The new cumulative update is described as KB3118754 and, according to Microsoft's notes, contains improvements to extend the functionality of the operating system.
In the first cumulative update for the new version, it's interesting to see that Microsoft is now referring to the operating system as "Windows 10 version 1511" instead of simply calling it Windows 10. Additionally, users will notice that the build number for the operating system has jumped from build 10586.3 to build 10586.11, which happens to match the build number of Windows 10 Mobile that the company released to the Fast ring.
