Windows 10 RTM vs. 10 22H2!
Microsoft is expected to finalize Windows 10 this week, before July 10, as the company prepares to launch the new operating system later this month. According to sources familiar with the plans, the software giant is working to finalize Windows 10 and the RTM (release to manufacturing) version is expected to be rolled out to partners later this week.
Although a number of candidate builds for Windows 10 RTM have already been spotted online, the company has yet to decide which build will be considered the final copy and released to partners so they can start preparing devices for July 29.
For those who don't know, RTM simply means a version of Windows 10 that Microsoft is confident is stable and free of major bugs. However, it will be far from complete and many features will be missing because the company is offering the operating system as a service, or WaaS (Windows as a Service).
