Windows 10 Creators Update: Upgrade process
Microsoft plans to release two major updates in 2017. We've known for some time that the software giant will release another major update to Windows 10 in early 2017. The update currently in development is what we know as "Redstone 2," but now the company has confirmed that it plans to release "Redstone 3" in 2017 as well.
The company's plans are now returning to a similar timeline that we saw with the Threshold updates in 2015.
In a new Microsoft TechNet article, the company points out that the Windows 10 Anniversary Update is the last update for 2016. However, "two more feature updates are expected for 2017."
