Windows 11, 10: Find and use BitLocker recovery key to unlock PC
Aside from the bugs and other issues that may arise while testing the new software, Microsoft also warns that the Technical Preview is far from complete and has a number of known issues. Although Microsoft has documented workarounds for many of the issues, the company has also developed a new tool called the Windows Phone Recovery Tool that will allow users to restore the previous image if necessary if your phone is bricked.
If your phone is now experiencing problems with Windows 10, you can download the Windows Phone Recovery Tool (version 1.0.4.0) from the Microsoft Mobile Devices page.
The tool is a desktop application that can be installed on Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. To recover, you just need to install the application, connect your Windows Phone via a USB cable and simply follow the on-screen instructions.
