Windows 11 24H2: The best NEW features in 2024
Microsoft quietly confirmed "2024 Update" as the name for the next version of Windows 11 (version 24H2), and not surprisingly, the name follows the trends of previous feature updates. For example, version 23H2 was called "2023 Update," and version 22H2 had the marketing name "2022 Update."
The official name of the next feature update first appeared on the Flight Hub page the company uses to track Windows Insider Program previews. It was then (indirectly) confirmed by Brandon LeBlanc (@brandonleblanc), senior program manager of the Windows Insider Program team at Microsoft, in a reply to @XenoPanther on X.
Although the release of the “Windows 11 2024 Update” is still months away, Microsoft has already announced that it is working on the feature update for Windows 11, which will focus on integrating additional AI capabilities as well as new features and visual changes.
