Windows 11 Build 22489: NEW settings optimizations and your Microsoft account
Microsoft is now rolling out Windows 11 Build 22489 to devices enrolled in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider program. This is another small update, but it includes new features as well as some new changes and fixes.
According to the official notes, Build 22489 for Windows 11 will begin rolling out the new "Your Microsoft Account" settings page. The new page will display information about your Microsoft account, including details about your Microsoft 365 subscription, quick access to order history, payment details, and Microsoft Rewards. The new settings page is only available to a limited number of users and will be rolled out to more people over time.
Microsoft also says that this feature will evolve over time using the Online Service Experience Pack mechanism, which is similar to the Windows Feature Experience Pack. However, the difference is that the Online Service Pack is limited to a specific feature, while the Feature Experience Pack can include improvements to many different parts of the operating system.
