🔴 Windows 11: NEW Start menu UI, taskbar changes, and more (Build 22635.4010)
Microsoft is currently rolling out Windows 11 Build 22635.4010 as update KB5041869 in the Beta channel of the Windows Insider program.
According to the official notes published on August 9, 2024, update KB5041869 restores the ability to display a shorter version of the time and date. It also adds a new option to disable the Jump List from opening in the taskbar for inactive apps, and the Start menu includes a working version of the new feature for grouping apps with different views.
Additionally, this build includes some fixes for the taskbar and Task Manager, and the company warns of known issues with File Explorer, Typing, and the taskbar.
