Windows 11: Set up installation without a Microsoft account (3 methods) ✅ Tested in 2024!
Microsoft is reportedly adding a new “hot patching” update mechanism to Windows 11 to avoid forcing the computer to restart every time a security update is released.
One of the most frustrating aspects of the operating system (apart from bugs and incomplete features) is that after installing a system update, the computer has to be restarted, which of course interrupts the workflow of all activities.
Even though Windows 11 implements the Active Hours feature to prevent sudden reboots when the computer is actively in use, it can sometimes be frustrating when the device automatically restarts at night, which can lead to the loss of unsaved work. (Thankfully, Notepad now saves changes automatically.)
