Windows 11: New snap layouts for managing windows with maximize button
Microsoft is reportedly working on adding AI capabilities to the Snap system in Windows 11. According to Windows Central, the software giant plans to expand the Snapping feature with new, AI-powered features.
These features include the ability for the system to remember snap layouts and a new search function in the task view to quickly find running apps. In addition, Microsoft is working on dynamically adapting the apps depending on which app is in focus.
Although these changes seem minor, they are functional. For example, the system's ability to remember Snap Layouts helps users quickly restore a group of apps with just one click. This saves time if the user often needs to multitask with the same group of apps.
