Windows 11: NEW Task Manager with dark mode support
Microsoft is working on a new version of Task Manager for Windows 11. The app is designed to monitor system resources and manage startup services. (Also check out this first video showing the new experience on Pureinfotech's YouTube channel.)
Similar to other components Microsoft has updated, the new Task Manager gets a new, redesigned design that matches the design style of Windows 11 with rounded corners, mica material that lets the desktop background shine through the app's frame, and new iconography.
The new app is not officially available. Instead, it is hidden in the latest preview of Windows 11 (Build 22538) and must be enabled manually. The app is still in the intensive development phase and nothing seems to work, but it gives us a first look at the design that Microsoft is expected to ship.
