Snipping Tool not working on Windows 11? Try these fixes!

Microsoft has released update KB5008295 for Windows 11 to fix the issues with the Snipping Tool and other system apps that may not work properly. However, the update is not fully available. Instead, the update is currently available as a preview in the Beta and Release Preview channels of the Windows Insider program.

According to the official notes, certain apps like Snipping Tool, Getting Started, Tips and other Windows features like Touch Keyboard, Voice Typing, Emoji Panel and Input Method Editor UI (IME UI) suddenly stopped working as Microsoft’s digital certificate expired on October 31, 2021.

Update KB5008295 fixes the issue with digital certificates in Windows 11 and fixes another known issue that prevents the Start menu and Settings app from opening as expected (S mode only).
