New Windows 11 Update 22000.434 – First security update 2022 for the main release
As part of the first cumulative update of 2022, Microsoft is now rolling out the Windows 11 update KB5009566 with several fixes.
KB5009566 increases the version number to build 22000.434 and, according to the official notes, fixes issues with text displaying in the wrong order or with the text cursor potentially moving unexpectedly in apps on devices with Japanese input method editors (IME).
Additionally, update KB5009566 fixes nearly a hundred security vulnerabilities, including six zero-day vulnerabilities and more than 95 security vulnerabilities. For more information, see the Security Update Guide and the January 2022 security updates website.
