Windows 11 February 2022 Update NEW features (test report)
Windows 11 will receive new features and visual changes outside of its major feature update schedule in February 2022. In a recent article, Panos Panay, Chief Product Officer for Windows and Devices, announced that the company plans to roll out several improvements that development teams have already tested in the Dev Channel of the Windows Insider program.
According to the announcement, Windows 11 will receive a preview of the Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) and the Amazon Appstore to support Android apps in the February 2022 Update. In addition, the update brings the redesigned Media Player and Notepad apps. In addition, Microsoft also plans to deliver some improvements to the taskbar.
As part of the Android app support, users can download the first preview of the WSA, which creates a virtualized environment for Android apps. However, since Google Play Services is not supported, only apps from the Amazon Appstore are supported.
