Mac vs. Windows – Who will win in 2024?
Ironically, I like how Apple defines new products it launches. For example, let's look at the MacBook (2015) that the company recently introduced. The company claims it is the "thinnest" MacBook ever, which is true, but it is not the thinnest notebook on the market. Apple just played with words to say "thinnest" and the same is true when the company talks about the adoption rate of its operating system and many other products.
We all know that the battle between Mac and PC will be a never-ending war, just like between two rival sports teams. During the March press conference, Apple announced the new MacBook, the thinnest and lightest device the company has ever made, without a full-fledged USB 3.0, DisplayPort or power connector, and PC makers took the opportunity to show the world that the MacBook is not the only thin and beautiful computer on the market.
Lenovo was the first to step in, calling the MacBook (2015) "so last year." On Twitter, the company tweeted an image showing that the Yoga 3 Pro (2014) is only 12.8mm thin, compared to the MacBook's 13.1mm. Although the Yoga 3 Pro is still heavier, Lenovo's version has two USB ports and a much higher resolution display.
