Demo of the new Settings user interface for Windows Terminal
Microsoft announces Windows Terminal, a new command-line app for Windows 10. The new app is designed to enable basic use of the Command Prompt, PowerShell, and the various Linux distributions available with the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
Although you can already run commands from various environments using the Command Prompt, the new Windows Terminal includes a Support tab as well as themes and other customizations for enthusiasts and developers.
Additionally, Windows Terminal support is expected to include emoji and GPU-based text rendering.
