New Windows 11 Build 22635.3930 – New taskbar thumbnails, taskbar, new start menu (beta)

As you know, Threshold is the next big thing for Windows, not just for PCs, but also for phones and tablets (big and small). There are some things we already know, like the Start menu will make a comeback on PCs with a keyboard and mouse, replacing the Start screen. And on tablets and touch-enabled devices, users will still get the Start screen by default, while small devices will be limited to just the Metro environment – no more desktop.

Now, a new report from Neowin claims that even more changes are coming. However, the report warns that Windows Threshold, which may be called Windows 9, is still in alpha and Microsoft will change or remove many features as the public release approaches.

According to the new report, the next version of Windows will have a new, refined user interface. Up until Windows 8, the desktop looks pretty much the same as Windows 7. The only major difference is perhaps the Start button. Things are different with Windows Threshold, the user interface will be updated and will look more modern and flatter.
