Microsoft is slowly updating Xbox One to enable game streaming to Windows 10 devices. Ever since the software giant unveiled the feature in January, we knew that streaming Xbox One games to Windows 10 devices using the Xbox app was coming.

However, a preview of the May Xbox One System Update has recently been made available to preview members, and many have discovered a new feature called “Allow game streaming to another device (beta)” in the Settings section.

We heard the feature was coming later this year because we all assumed Microsoft would make it available in time for the Windows 10 release, but we never got a concrete date from the company. Now, it looks like we can expect the game streaming feature sometime in May, at least for preview members. However, that's only part of the equation; Microsoft still needs to update the Xbox app for Windows 10, which is the other component for the functionality to work.
